Black Kabouli

This tasty garbanzo was an experimental variety from Kabul, Afghanistan.  The beautiful, frilly plant with small flowers produces pods with 2-3 solid black medium sized beans. The seed originally procured from Abundant Life Seed in Port Townsend, Washington and developed at Washington State University at Pullman. Unique variety with cold tolerance.
