This bean is a classic Italian heirloom variety, and can be used as a fresh snap bean, a fresh shell bean or dried for use in the winter months. This variety is popular in Portuguese and Italian cuisine. The vines are about 4’- 6’ long with many runners producing beautiful green pods that are striped magenta.
