This heirloom golden brown bean with a delicious nutty flavor originates from Norway around 1900. Great in baked beans, soup and stew, it is earlier than Dutch Brown or Swedish Brown with beautiful abundant plants. The compact bush, producing many pods per plant, is good for growing in Northern gardens.
